if you go to this page and vote , i might get some reward that will allow me to play on teen idol shows when i'm 50. scroll down to 'bracket 14' and vote for me for some unknown reason. if you don't fancy me on teen idol shows, you are my kind of music appreciater. but you could still vote because i really won't be on teen idol shows. i don't know what a teen idol show is. i do know that dan herman of NYC and radio crystal blue has fancied some of my musak and is a contest thrower and entered me into this whole mess and now i have to win because i am the youngest of five children and win! win!=worth! you can view playlists of radio crystal blue.

::::::::STUDIO NEWS:::::::::
the studio (we're tracking our next hit record album with) had a computer crashing incident. all tracks are lost. if you want the only remaining version of 'i'm here' from the "Kevlar Session" ... see brad willis' antifolk site below. it's on his latest compilation. this blows for obvious reasons but being the huge optimist i am known to be, we'll make the best of it. !!HAHAHA!! maniacal. laughter. the bad news is more that we had james whiton all hooked up to go in with his massive musical talents on the massive double bass this sunday and well, it's friday. why are we working with james? because he fucking rocks. that's why. he's a little too busy touring with the eric mcfadden trio to be part of the band, but i'm sure time permitting and a million dollars would make him wanna be in my band. everyone always asks me if i thought of having a bass player. everyone always. asks me. "have you thought about a third piece?" "how bout a bass in there?" if i thought. of having.
a bass player. so here's the list of bass players i've 'had':

Val Sukhanov
Blake Lehman
Jean Mann
Dave Lister
Tom (too drunk to remember his last name)
Zen (doesn't have a last name)
Todd (just Todd)

do you want to be 'had'? email me and we can set it up. if you play gzorkistone, the xylowhorgan, or that hot potato thing with strings, still email me and describe the sound it makes when you blow on it. we are happy with each other, rob and i still, we like flesh to devour.

speaking of blowing on things, charles hodgin will join us in our composition for "Bare Bones" performance piece choreographed by Randee Paufve. We had a second performance of this at dance mission, san francisco this past month. The first was to a packed Stork Club in Oakland last November. Charlie is an amazing blower: plumbing pipe, coppertubing, sax and assorted horn-type things. We met Charlie in the same state we met james and lewi and val and all the original kids of the desert that is New Mexico. It is always amazing to collaborate with him! Look for his project "Yellow Car Behind the Mountain" soon.
